Spandex is one of the world's leading trade suppliers to the sign making and display industries. Spandex needed a cooling solution for their storage area for opaque vinyl materials fused in sign making. Like many warehouses in the UK, they were suffering the effects of heat and as can often be the case, their products needed to be stored at temperatures below ambient.
Our solution:
Previously they had achieved and maintained adequate temperatures through the use of an expensive refrigeration-based air conditioning system. Harry Taylor was able to offer Spandex an EcoCooling system. Harry Taylor installed two Eco Coolers in their warehouse in Lancaster. The coolers were linked to a common control system that monitors humidity and temperature levels in the warehouse. Through a combination of ventilation, evaporative cooling, and air throughput, Harry Taylor could regulate the temperature in the storage facility to meet Spandex’s specific criteria.
