Introduction to case study:
The Dhamecha Group is a cash and carry wholesaler which currently serves London and the Midlands from thirteen locations - Wembley, Barking, Enfield, Croydon, Hayes, Watford, Lewisham, Leyton, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Leicester, Nottingham and now Liverpool. The Dhamecha Group asked Harry Taylor to redesign the heating system at their premises in Barking. The premises had existing radiant tube heaters; however, these units were unsuitable for the Dhamecha Group's needs. They only produced localised heat and did not provide full coverage to the Barking depot. Harry Taylor delivered an updated system that proved both economical and efficient.
Our solution:
Harry Taylor utilised the existing radiant heating system and adapted it to suit Dhamecha's store layout. Harry Taylor configured the existing radiant tube heaters to provide localised heat to the store's checkout area and installed warm air heaters at strategic points around the store to create pools of warmth for the benefit of customers and staff alike. This solution worked well for the Dhamecha Group and commenced a ongoing long-standing relationship between them and Harry Taylor. The Dhamecha Group have asked Harry Taylor to produce systems based on the Barking formula at all of their locations open-to-date.
